Automotive Digital Marketing Manager

Jack Madden Ford is looking for a creative, motivated, and results-driven Automotive Digital Marketing Manager to join our team and help grow our business across Sales, Parts, and Service.

The ideal candidate will work closely with department managers and dealership leadership to develop marketing strategies that attract new customers, generate leads, increase appointments, and drive revenue.

About the Position

The Automotive Digital Marketing Manager will oversee and coordinate digital marketing initiatives designed to bring new business to all areas of the dealership.

You will work directly with our Sales, Parts, and Service departments to understand their goals and develop campaigns that produce measurable results.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys combining creativity, technology, data, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Marketing

• Develop digital campaigns that generate new and used vehicle sales opportunities.
• Promote new inventory, used vehicles, trade-in opportunities, financing offers, and dealership promotions.
• Create campaigns designed to increase website traffic, leads, phone calls, and showroom appointments.
• Work with the Sales team to identify opportunities to increase traffic and improve lead conversion.
• Promote aged inventory and special vehicle campaigns.
• Track marketing performance and identify which campaigns are generating actual sales opportunities.

Service Marketing

• Partner with the Service Department to attract new service customers and increase repair orders.
• Develop digital campaigns promoting service specials, maintenance, tires, brakes, batteries, inspections, and seasonal services.
• Create campaigns targeting customers who have not serviced with Jack Madden Ford recently.
• Develop strategies to attract customers who currently service their vehicles at independent repair facilities or competing dealerships.
• Promote service appointments through search, social media, email, and other digital channels.
• Measure campaign performance based on appointments and business generated.

Parts Marketing

• Work with Parts Management to develop strategies that increase Parts sales and attract new customers.
• Promote parts specials, accessories, Ford products, and seasonal offerings.
• Develop campaigns targeting retail customers, commercial customers, and vehicle owners looking for parts and accessories.
• Identify opportunities to grow the dealership's online Parts business.
• Create digital promotions that generate measurable Parts inquiries and sales.

Digital Marketing & Content

• Manage the dealership's digital marketing strategy across search, social media, email, website, and other digital platforms.
• Create engaging content featuring vehicles, employees, technicians, customer experiences, promotions, community involvement, and dealership events.
• Develop photos, videos, advertisements, promotions, and written content that generate customer engagement and action.
• Monitor online trends and identify new opportunities to reach potential customers.
• Maintain a consistent and professional Jack Madden Ford brand across digital channels.

Customer Acquisition & Retention

• Develop campaigns specifically designed to foster new business and expand the dealership's customer base.
• Use customer and dealership data to identify opportunities for conquest, reactivation, and retention.
• Develop strategies to bring previous customers back for their next vehicle purchase or service visit.
• Identify customers who have not purchased or serviced with the dealership and create targeted campaigns to win them back.
• Help build long-term customer relationships rather than simply generating one-time leads.

Analytics & Performance

• Track and report on digital marketing performance.
• Monitor leads, appointments, website traffic, calls, conversions, sales opportunities, and service opportunities.
• Evaluate marketing ROI and make recommendations based on performance.
• Continuously test and improve campaigns, messaging, audiences, and creative.
• Provide regular updates to dealership management regarding marketing performance and opportunities for growth.

This position will work closely with managers throughout the dealership, including:

• Sales
• BDC/Internet Sales
• Service
• Parts
• General Management
• Finance
• Customer Experience

The successful candidate will become a marketing resource for each department, helping managers identify opportunities and creating campaigns designed to produce real business results.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in digital marketing, advertising, social media, or business development.
• Automotive dealership marketing experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of social media, digital advertising, SEO, email marketing, and analytics.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Creative thinker who can develop fresh marketing ideas.
• Comfortable working with data and measuring results.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and departments.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with department managers.
• A genuine interest in helping a business grow.
