Job Description

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Instructional Designer for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Lake Forest, IL 60045. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• $35 - $37/hour based on previous experience.
• Full-Time, 5 days a week on-site in Lake Forest, Monday - Friday - normal business hours.
• Working in the training team skilled in instructional design, learning strategy, and implementation
• Leading or participating in all aspects of the industry-standard methodology for assessing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating content.
• Creating instructor-led courses (virtual and in-person), eLearning, and other instructional materials that simplify complex concepts, present information attractively, and maximize information retention and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborating openly and effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
• Maintain the Learning Management System by assigning training and processing profile updates.
• Manage project timelines and drive initiatives to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all training materials by facilitating successful review processes as needed continually.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably as an instructional designer, educational technologist, eLearning developer, and Learning Management System (LMS), specifically, ISOtrain, expertise.
• Understanding of the required elements for different training delivery methods, like computer-based training, instructor-led training content, and competency assessments.
• Experience using Articulate Storyline, or similar design and development software.
• Collaboration and interpersonal skills - the role will frequently interact with stakeholders and other team members, so collaboration and open communication is essential.
