We are actively seeking a Compact Tract Loader Operator at Continental Drilling and Service, a Synergen company, located in Shreveport, Louisiana that would be responsible for mobilizing and demobilizing Drilling’s equipment to and from job sites, operating equipment while on the job site, and servicing equipment according to the maintenance plan. 

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Operate compact track loader, welding machine, pump hoist, and polyethylene pipe storage trailer
• Perform manual labor duties 
• Operate welding machine on location and weld pipe as instructed
• Follow all company standard operating procedures
• Maintain inventory of critical spares on equipment and report any malfunctions
• Perform Pre, in-route, and post trip inspections of commercial vehicles
• Ensure equipment is kept clean and orderly at all times

A qualified applicant must posses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• Current Driver’s License that allows driving a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 10,001 pounds or greater
• Welding experience preferred
• Great organizational skills 
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Also includes occasionally working outdoors in elements/weather.
