Pay: $17–$20 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Start Your Career in Manufacturing Safety

We are hiring an Entry-Level Safety Specialist to join our manufacturing team in San Antonio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in workplace safety and wants to build a long-term career in Safety/EHS within a manufacturing environment .

You will work closely with experienced safety professionals and site leadership while gaining hands-on experience with OSHA compliance, employee training, workplace inspections, incident reporting, safety documentation, and hazard prevention .

Previous safety experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• Help maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
• Support OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Monitor manufacturing and warehouse areas to identify potential safety hazards.
• Assist with workplace inspections and corrective actions.
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting.
• Maintain safety records, OSHA logs, KPIs, and other required documentation.
• Assist with new-hire safety orientations and employee training.
• Support forklift safety training and recertification.
• Help identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with weekly safety meetings and monthly safety committee meetings.
• Help maintain OHSMS documentation and identify workplace risks.
• Assist with safety training materials and required training schedules.
• Track and organize safety data, including injuries, incidents, and safety trends.
• Work closely with the Senior Safety Manager and Corporate Safety Team.
• Spend approximately 75% of your time on the manufacturing/warehouse floor and 25% in the office.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by leadership.

What We're Looking For

Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply!

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or safety experience is a plus.
• 1–3 years of safety experience preferred, but not required .
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable with good attendance and a strong safety mindset.
• Basic computer, scanner, and data-entry skills.
• Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Comfortable communicating with employees and assisting with safety meetings.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working on a manufacturing and warehouse floor.
• May be exposed to machinery, noise, changing temperatures, and occasional outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.
